Teiji Ito composed music for film and the theater. Sadly, only one document of his work was made available during his lifetime. Will Soderberg and Mike Khoury met on lunch hours between September and December of 2006 to record this document of improvisations. We attempted to address visual elements in our work as did Ito. In recording this work, we wanted to pay tribute to a great influence on us both and one of the 20th Century's most overlooked composers.
